Trying to Rotate..

As of today, August 4 Im working a total of 4 W-I-Ps. The most recent one is Jan Houtman's, 9-11 Twin Towers Tribute. Rotation is something totally foreign to me, but Im giving it ago. What I think I will do is this:

1 Week: 9-11 Tribute Sampler
2 Week: Do Bears - LDS
3 Week: Quaker Six Mains
4 Week: Eightsome Reel - PC

Well at least that's my plan...

To see all my current projects just check photo galleries to the right or above at respective week.

Don't have much of an excuse for just stitching, because its so hot now that the HEAT WAVE has broken here in DC, but I still work in a good 4 or so hours of stitching per day, or at least try to..
its good therapy to take a break for housework and home finances to just stitch watch and old movie and relax...

PS: Im going to be using my webite for pictures from now on, blogger is too unpredictible... its easier to update that way..

This arrived today!

Just a photo announcement for our second grandchild, nothing written on the back, no note, no nothing.. so I guess the sentiment is clear..

If you want you can read the whole saga that led to this pitiful token that I received today, you can read my July 25, 2006 post

But on a happier note, this arrived Saturday, my oldest niece is getting married.

She's a school teacher in 7th Day Adventist School, in Texas. (that side is 7th Day Adventist) she has followed all the teachings, did church camps and fellowships, but she is taking a giant step in being married in Presbyterian church. Words cannot express how happy and glad we are for her, so glad.

Her grandmother, my aunt told me a few a weeks ago. She doesn't think she will make the wedding, we wont, we haven't made one.. but its nice to be asked and thought of, isn't it...
